As announced in class today, there are important changes to the URBS 102 course schedule for the remainder of the semester.

• For Thursday 5/9, please watch (1) “The New Metropolis: The New Neighbors” (to stream, go to the class’s Blackboard site and click Multimedia in the lefthand menu) and, (2) on YouTube, “Ferguson: A Report from Occupied Territory.”
• Presentations of assignment M-5 are postponed to Monday 5/13. The M-5 assignment is also due in your Google Drive folder by 5/13.
• The final exam originally scheduled for 5/16 is canceled. We will not meet that day.
• Instead of a final exam, there will be an extended final take-home essay assignment involving both the class readings and your metro area project. The grade from this assignment will count as both a test and the last part of your metro area project. The final essay will be due online on Wednesday 5/22 at 11:59 p.m. Details will be provided in class this Thursday.
